My brother is living in me each day I think about him and my sister Gwen, Angela, and Chanel. Our Father is doing fine he is still hanging on. Although we shared our lives through our Father we are from the same blood who helped us come into this world. To all sister's, brother's nephew's and niece's you have my love and support when ever you need me. Peace and Blessings (The Stancil Family)

We need to keep all our law enforcement officers in our prayers, lifting them before God's throne for protection of the officers and their families. We must remember that, when an officer is killed in the line of duty, entire families are affected. It is not only an officer that dies, but a part of a family dies along with him or her.
May God bless and protect those who choose to help protect us.

A hero is one who does his job, even though the performance of that task may lead to certain death. Because it is the right thing to do, to help.

I was retired by 9/11 but I was still at ground Zero that day and was in and out of Ground Zero for the following Two Months. (was was one of 2 Lts running Ambulance Primary Staging at the WTC on February 93 as well). Remembering the 38 officers of the Port Authority Police Department who gave their own (out of 150 POs) that day.

To start with the monument is absolutely beautiful!
I have never seen a description of a police officer which tells it like it is.
I retired from the New York State Police as a road trooper and always felt like being a police officer was the greatest job in the world.
I do have to admit for me to live up to the description portrayed in the memorial would be difficult at best!
Wonderful! That's all I can say about this site.
We must never forget! May our brothers R.I.P

New York State Police 1956-1978 - while there was a measure of danger we only imagined it was the dangerous job compared to the criminal element they face today. The criminals are too often emboldened by the restraints placed on law enforcement by the soft-hearted politicians and the opportunistic legal community.

Jeff, I never really knew you , but an hour before you were shot. I handed you the keys to that police vehicle and I told you to give me just a second I would be unloaded. You said "take your time I got all night" It just shows us how we are all at death's door. You, Sean and your families will never be forgotten and I frequently pray for your families. God bless you all.
